Brickyard Engineering

The Brickyard complex on Mill Avenue is a reflection of ASU’s strategic initiative to embed itself in the communities it serves. A true mixed-use development, this project occupies a city block, approximately 2.2 acres, in downtown Tempe, fronting onto Mill Avenue. Home to both ASU and commercial entities, this complex features side street retail, restaurants, and office and residential spaces, and incorporates historic Mill Avenue elements in its design and architecture.

The Brickyard is home to the Fulton Schools of Engineering Dean’s Office, research and instructional labs and offices for the faculty in the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering, home to these degree programs:

  • Computer Science
  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Systems Engineering
  • Engineering Management
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Informatics

The building also houses the Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC); the School of Arts, Media, and Engineering, a collaborative research venture between the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and Fulton Engineering; the Consortium for Embedded and InterNetworking Technologies (CEINT); Information Assurance; and Intelligent Information Integration; and the Center for Science and the Imagination.
